Shoppers Stop is one of India’s largest premiere department stores, with over 83 locations across 38 cities. In 2008, Shoppers stop launched its e-store with delivery across several major cities in India.
Key to the success for any department store is continuous identification and onboarding of new suppliers and effective management of existing suppliers. Manual processes for supplier onboarding and managemeny are highly time consuming and impede business growth.
Shoppers Stop selected the mondCloud platform in order to automate their vendor registration process, which was the first step to increase the overall effectiveness of their supply chain. mondCloud’s team implemented a vendor registration process using a responsive UI that allowed suppliers to quickly submit their data and Shoppers Stop managers to easily review and approve the data.
mondCloud’s solution automated the process to determine the appropriate terms and conditions for each supplier agreement, depending on the nature of the business model between the supplier and Shoppers Stop.
